This is a great choice if you’re looking for a real Costa Rican adventure.

You’ll hike along a Costa Rican river, crossing it a couple of times as you make your way toward the waterfall. Part of the hike is through the water, but as you get closer, the adventure really begins. The only way to reach this hidden waterfall is through a high rock-walled canyon. You’ll use the ropes provided to swim, pull, and work your way through the canyon.

 

It takes some effort to get there, but once you reach the waterfall, you’ll understand why it was worth it. You’ll have the chance to cool off in the water, take in the beautiful surroundings, and enjoy the feeling of finding a place that most people never get to see.
