This is another great day in the mountains, with a little adventure, a little culture, and plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica.

On this private drive, we pick you up early and start heading toward the volcano. Along the way, we stop so you can purchase a good breakfast to start your day before continuing up into the mountains.

 

Once we arrive, the adventure begins high above the jungle. You’ll walk across hanging bridges, keeping an eye out for monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife along the way. Then it’s time to go flying from tree to tree on a zipline, with amazing views of the Guanacaste countryside below.

 

Next comes the 400-meter mountain water slide. It’s a great way to get your heart racing and cool off at the same time. Afterward, you’ll have a chance to experience a little of Costa Rican culture at the cultural center before sitting down and enjoying a great lunch.

 

The afternoon brings a horseback ride through the forest, followed by some well-earned relaxation. You’ll finish the day with a volcanic mud treatment and time in the natural hot pools, filled with water heated by the volcano.

 

It’s a full day of adventure and discovery, with plenty of time to slow down and enjoy it all. By the time we head home, you’ll have experienced the jungle from above, the forest from horseback, and the relaxing side of the volcano too.
