This is one of those days where you get a little bit of everything Costa Rica has to offer.

 

On this private drive, we pick you up early and start heading toward the volcano. About halfway there, we stop so you can purchase a good breakfast to start your day. Then we finish the drive to the mountain.

 

Before long, you’re surrounded by jungle. This adventure day includes ziplining through a beautiful river canyon, with the river flowing below you. From there, the day keeps moving with jungle river tubing through Class I–II rapids and a horseback ride through the surrounding countryside.

 

After all that adventure, it’s time to slow things down. You’ll have time to enjoy a great lunch and then relax in the natural thermal springs, where the water is heated by the volcano. You can soak, enjoy the volcanic mud, and simply take your time.

 

It’s a full day, but that’s part of what makes it special. By the time we head home, you’ll have spent the day laughing, exploring, getting a little dirty, and experiencing Costa Rica in a way you’ll remember long after you leave.
