We moved to Costa Rica to slow down and enjoy the wonderful things in life.  My wife and I chose this area because it still has the wonder and peace of the "REAL" Costa Rica and not the craziness of a tourist town. The people in this area are kind and simple. They value what is important in life and embody the saying “treat people the way you want to be treated.” This inspired us to create TPV Costa Rica which provides Private All-inclusive vacations, Private Tours and Transportation.  We believe, in a world where everyone is a number, it is time for you to be known by your name.

Of course, the flora and fauna speak for themselves, but Doug you found the best places to eat (the food at the tico restaurant in Monteverde remains the best we have had in all the months we have been here), to stay and to visit. You were able to fit in with our (sometimes diverse and conflicting!) needs, answer both stupid and awkward questions, translate and provide invaluable insights into the local culture, wildlife and lifestyle. Our friends Mike and Dee went home with special memories of that trip. It’s time for us to move on now and we hope to set sail for Nicaragua within the next couple of days, but we have loved being here and your tour certainly contributed hugely to the fun we have had.
